Device for sharpening knives “Model 10”

We present to your attention our device “Model 10”.

!!! From 01.10.2024 the model is available in a modified configuration. The device received an improved, rigid rotating mechanism without looseness.

This device took into account the wishes of home users and professionals of sharpening devices. Firstly, its size. This is a compact device that has a weight of 3,230 grams. That is, it is stable. The base is made of steel and has rubber feet. The device is painted with high-grade powder paint. This is the world’s first device with a magnetic node lock.
The rotary mechanism is built on a double row ball bearing. It has an integrated axis. The bearing does not require maintenance.
It is difficult to describe the operation of the node in simple words.
We also managed to implement a 10-piece knife frame in this device. By unscrewing the two screws on the frame, the operator can inspect the knife and its edge condition while sharpening the knife without removing it from the clips.

Please note that the knife must be clamped with the handle on the side where the magnet is located (so that it rests on the rack).

The strength of the magnet has been adjusted by us in such a way that it is comfortable for the user to work when turning the knife to the other side.

An electronic goniometer is included!

Our devices have implemented the first parking hook built into the sharpener. The first mass production of fully milled knife clips.

The blade clamps of the original design are made of alloy 7075 , heat-treated .
The horizontal guide rod with a diameter of 8 mm is made of alloy stainless steel, has a hardness of 58-60 HRC, a surface roughness of 0.4 Ra.

The device is designed for sharpening kitchen, hunting, folding knives of various shapes and sizes. Due to the precise and stable fixation of the knife in the clamps of the device, as well as the ability to turn the knife over without removing it from the clamps, sharpening is fast, easy and does not require special operator skills. The sharpening angle is changed by lifting or lowering the hinge assembly along the vertical rack.
